Find Your Fit
A Value-Based Brand Directory

Find Your Fit Launches Data-Driven Platform for Brand Transparency

United States - Consumers seeking ethical and inclusive brands often face challenges in accessing clear, reliable information on size inclusivity, sustainability, and company ownership. Without a centralized resource, verifying a brand’s values can be time-consuming and frustrating. In response, MC Digital Strategy developed Find Your Fit, a searchable, data-driven platform designed to simplify the research process and empower consumers to make informed purchasing decisions with ease.

PROJECT UNDERSTANDING

Find Your Fit had no platform, no visual identity, and no way to bring their concept to life. The idea was clear: create an inclusive brand directory that makes it easier for people to shop by size, ethics, price, and ownership but the tools to do it didn’t exist yet.

They came to us to build everything from scratch. We developed a full brand system, mapped the user journey, and designed a custom website that makes values-based shopping simple and accessible. The result is a searchable directory that supports ethical discovery without compromising on usability — built for people who care about what they wear and who they support.

Brand

Find Your Fit needed a brand that felt high-trust and low-pressure. Something clear, approachable, and built for everyday shoppers, not just activists or industry insiders.

We created a minimalist visual identity with soft neutrals, clear typography, and a calm tone of voice. The brand isn’t loud on purpose. It’s designed to get out of the way so users can focus on what matters: finding brands that reflect their values. Every design choice was made to support that — from the stripped-back interface to the plain-language summaries and search filters.

This was about giving people a tool that feels just as thoughtful as the decisions it helps them make.

Color Palette

For Find Your Fit, we used a neutral, industry-standard palette to keep the focus on the brands. The colors are clean and minimal, giving the platform a familiar retail feel while letting each featured brand bring its own personality forward.

Typography

We paired Tenor Sans with DM Sans to keep the experience light, clear, and recognizable. The type system stays out of the way, supporting fast browsing and easy comparison without adding noise.

Custom Website

We built Find Your Fit as a fully custom web app using React and Next.js. The site was designed to handle complex filtering, fast search, and clean presentation across hundreds of brand profiles.

The frontend uses React with Tailwind CSS for a smooth, responsive user experience. The backend is powered by Node.js, Prisma, and PostgreSQL, with media stored in Firebase and everything hosted on Vercel. We also integrated secure login using NextAuth.

The result is a fast, scalable platform built specifically to support clear navigation, verified brand data, and seamless search — without relying on templates or plug-ins.

Layout

From the first scroll, users know what the site does, how to use it, and where to start.

Categories are grouped the way real people shop: by numeric size, letter size, X sizes, and custom fit. This helps users self-identify quickly and see what’s available without having to learn a new system. Each filter leads to brand results with straightforward summaries, so users never have to dig to get answers.

Navigation is intentionally minimal. There are no distractions or long menus. Instead, key actions like submitting a brand or reviewing policies are tucked in the footer, keeping the focus on the directory.

This approach respects users’ time and supports the site’s goal: help people find clothing that fits them and their values, without the usual overwhelm.

Research

Before anything was built, we analyzed over 400 fashion brands, documenting their size ranges, sustainability practices, and ownership structures. The goal was to replace vague marketing claims with clear, accessible data.

We conducted comparative analysis to identify which brands truly met standards for size inclusivity, ethical production, and diverse ownership. Then we translated that research into plain-language summaries and consistent data points — not just to inform the platform, but to help users make decisions quickly and with confidence.

This research became the backbone of the site.

Media Strategy Insights

Every part of this strategy was built around the question: how do you help people find brands that align with their values — without making them sort through marketing jargon, endless ads, or 50 open tabs?

We started with what would actually help.

The platform itself handled the data: clear filters, verified information, and a clean layout. But for the launch, we needed a campaign that could break that down and bring people in. We built a 3-month social strategy across Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok — each tailored to how people use those platforms to discover brands and trends.

Pinterest focused on visual guides and searchable boards — categories like “3XL+ Clothing,” “Ethical Loungewear,” and “Brands That Are Native-Owned” gave users a way to explore without overwhelm. TikTok leaned into fast, engaging explainers — real talk about who makes your clothes, where your size is, and why ownership matters. Instagram balanced short-form educational content with aesthetic brand highlights and saved-list recommendations.

Each channel had a purpose. Each piece of content pointed back to the platform. The goal wasn’t just awareness — it was clarity, trust, and better choices made easier.

A customer shared, "With so many brands pushing products, it can be overwhelming to make informed choices. Find Your Fit puts control back in my hands, making it easier to shop in alignment with my values. As a plus-size shopper, it’s also so helpful to finally find clothing that truly represents me."
